IT & Technology Deal Advisory - Manager / Senior Manager

Our client is one of the UK's leading professional services organisations, recognised for delivering high-profile transformation and transaction projects for an impressive portfolio of corporate, private equity and public sector clients. Due to continued growth, our client is looking for experienced IT & Technology Deal Advisory Manager / Senior Manager candidates to join their expanding team.

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of technology, business change and corporate transactions. You'll advise clients throughout the deal lifecycle, helping them understand technology risks and opportunities while shaping successful outcomes for acquisitions, divestments and strategic transformations.

The Opportunity

You'll work alongside senior business leaders, investors and client executives, leading technology workstreams across complex transaction and transformation programmes. Projects are varied, commercially focused and typically involve:

  • Technology due diligence for acquisitions and investments
  • IT integration planning and execution
  • Carve-out and separation programmes
  • Technology assessments and operating model reviews
  • Digital and enterprise technology transformation
  • Technology strategy aligned to business objectives

This is a highly visible advisory role offering genuine progression, exposure to major clients and the opportunity to influence strategic decisions at board level.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Leading technology workstreams across complex transaction engagements
  • Delivering technology due diligence and presenting clear commercial recommendations
  • Advising clients on integration, separation and carve-out strategies
  • Assessing enterprise applications, infrastructure, data and technology landscapes
  • Supporting system selection exercises, including RFI and RFP processes
  • Overseeing technology implementation programmes and major change initiatives
  • Building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and executive teams
  • Supporting business development through proposals, client meetings and new opportunities
  • Coaching and developing junior consultants within the team
What We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with experienced technology consultants or advisory professionals who can demonstrate:

  • Strong experience within technology advisory or consulting
  • Exposure to technology due diligence, integration or separation programmes
  • Experience leading system selection (RFI/RFP) and implementation projects
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical capability and the ability to translate technical information into commercial insight
  • Good understanding of enterprise architecture across applications, data and technology environments
  • A proactive, inquisitive approach with a passion for continuous improvement
We'd also be interested in candidates with experience of:
  • Mergers and acquisitions programmes
  • Broad enterprise technology environments rather than a single technical specialism
  • Business development, proposal writing and winning new work
  • Leading or mentoring consulting teams
  • Professional certifications such as TOGAF, cloud technologies or project delivery qualifications
