We are supporting a global leader in secure digital identity and government technology as they look to appoint a UK Senior Sales Lead to drive one of the most strategically important digital passport and national identity programmes in the UK.

This is a senior, high-impact role focused on winning and delivering major UK Government tenders, with a particular emphasis on ePassports, Digital ID, identity documents and national-scale identity systems.

The Role

Reporting into the European Sales leadership, you will take full ownership of sales strategy and execution across the UK identity market, with a core objective of winning the upcoming UK ePassport programme.

You will lead complex, multi-year government sales cycles, working closely with technical, legal, bid management, programme delivery and consortium partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a winning UK sales strategy for Digital Passports, Digital Identity and national ID programmes
  • Lead all sales and bid activities for large-scale UK Government and Home Office tenders
  • Act as the primary commercial interface with HMPO, Home Office stakeholders, consultants and delivery partners
  • Shape consortiums and manage relationships with subcontractors and ecosystem partners
  • Promote advanced identity, document security and digital ID capabilities to senior public sector decision makers
  • Lead commercial negotiations alongside legal and finance teams
  • Provide regular updates to European and global leadership on pipeline, strategy and bid progress
  • Post-contract, retain ownership of the customer account, strengthening long-term relationships, trust, forecasting and future growth

About You

You will be a proven senior sales leader with deep exposure to UK public sector identity programmes and a strong understanding of digital identity, secure documents and government procurement.

Essential experience:

  • 10+ years senior sales experience within the UK Government or public sector market
  • Strong understanding of Digital ID, ePassports, identity systems or secure document solutions
  • Demonstrable experience selling into the Home Office, HMPO or adjacent government bodies
  • Track record of leading and winning complex, high-value government tenders
  • Ability to engage credibly with senior civil servants and executive-level stakeholders

Highly desirable:

  • Previous involvement in UK ePassport or national identity programmes
  • Established network within the Home Office, HMPO or UK identity ecosystem
  • Experience operating within consortium or multi-vendor delivery models
