Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Sales Development Representative based in Bath, United Kingdom. The initial contract will be for 3 months with potential to extend given exceptional performance.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a university student or graduate based in Bath to cut their teeth on real commercial outcomes in AI and software. It is ideally suited to someone interested in founding their own startup someday.
The Sales Development Representative will focus on identifying and generating qualified leads, building relationships with prospective clients, and supporting business development initiatives. Key responsibilities include prospecting, problem and solution mapping, reaching out to potential leads, conducting outreach campaigns, cold calling (this role is not appropriate for someone unwilling to pick up the phone, we need a go-getter), calendar management, rapid learning on product and market to provide product insights, and collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to drive growth.
We will ask you both how you plan to utilise AI, and notably how you will cut through in a go-to-market channel now saturated by AI.
Qualifications
- Experience (or extreme willingness) in Inside Sales and Lead Generation
- Strong Communication and relationship-building skills
- Proven expertise in Sales and Business Development
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets and exceed expectations
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic environment
- Experience in retail media, advertising, technology, or AI-related industries is a plus
