Partner Financial is partnering with a high-growth infrastructure business operating across the energy transition sector. The company is delivering large-scale, capital-intensive projects across the UK, with a focus on next-generation infrastructure and sustainable power solutions. Backed by significant investment and led by an experienced leadership team, the business is entering a critical phase of expansion and execution.
With continued growth and increasing complexity across the group, the business is seeking to appoint a Group FP&A Manager. This is a key finance role responsible for driving group-level planning, performance reporting and decision support. The role will have ownership of SG&A analysis, cash flow forecasting and long-range planning, and will play a central role in shaping board-level reporting and strategic decision-making.
This position will suit a commercially minded FP&A professional with experience in infrastructure, real estate, data centres or similarly capital-intensive environments, who enjoys working in a fast-paced, evolving business.
Key responsibilities:
- Leading group-wide FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Ownership of SG&A reporting, analysis and cost optimisation initiatives across the group.
- Preparation of monthly board and executive reporting packs, delivering clear and insightful performance commentary.
- Development and maintenance of short, medium and long-term cash flow forecasting models.
- Supporting the 3-year and 5-year strategic planning processes, working closely with senior leadership.
- Partnering with operational and commercial teams to drive performance insight and decision support.
- Enhancing FP&A models, reporting tools and processes to improve accuracy, efficiency and automation.
- Supporting scenario analysis, investment appraisals and strategic initiatives across the business.
- Contributing to continuous improvement of group reporting frameworks and financial systems.
The candidate:
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
- Strong background in FP&A, financial planning or management reporting roles.
- Experience within infrastructure, real estate, data centres or other capital-intensive sectors is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and modelling skills, with ability to build and maintain robust financial models.
- Experience producing board-level reporting and presenting financial insight to senior stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of cash flow forecasting and group-level financial planning.
- Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable working in a high-growth environment.
- Strong communication skills with ability to influence across finance and non-finance stakeholders.
