Senior Software Developer (MAUI / ASP.NET Core)

Hybrid – 1 day per week in Oxfordshire (Great train links)

£55,000 to £65,000 + excellent benefits.

An established UK technology business is looking to hire a Senior Software Developer to join a collaborative engineering team delivering modern web and mobile applications.

This is a hands on role working across ASP.NET Core web platforms and cross platform mobile apps built with .NET MAUI, with a particular focus on Android. You’ll own features from discovery and technical design through to deployment and ongoing support, working within an agile environment.

You’ll be developing in C# using modern .NET, building RESTful APIs, working with Entity Framework Core and optimising SQL Server and Azure SQL databases. There is a strong emphasis on clean architecture, SOLID principles and writing secure, testable, maintainable code.

As a senior developer, you’ll help shape technical standards, contribute to code reviews, mentor other engineers and work closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable, production ready solutions.

Experience required:

– 5+ years commercial .NET development experience

– Strong ASP.NET Core experience including API development

– Experience building Android focused apps using .NET MAUI or Xamarin

– Solid knowledge of Entity Framework Core and database performance tuning

– Strong SQL skills across SQL Server or Azure SQL

– Experience working in Git based collaborative environments

– Exposure to automated testing practices
