This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining software that is critical to our flagship access control products. You will also be responsible for mentoring and coaching team members.You will design solutions for new features and bug fixes according to project requirements and specificationsYou will provide leadership for project requirements, planning and reportingCollaborate with the Principal Engineer, Apps and Cloud teamsEnsure the technical integrity of user interfaces, back end API services, mobile apps, and cloud services, using test driven design methodologies and best practiceIdentify problems or risks early on in the development cycle to help the team avoid or mitigate these risks to ensure efficient delivery of work to be completedYou will be able to help provide input and suggestions to other team member's designs or take part int the decision-making process to ensure progress on tasks and deliverablesYou will play an active part in reviewing your own and other people's code throughout the development process to help the team ensure good coding practices as we deliver our workReview and provide feedback on requirements, specifications and designs to assure product qualityActively contribute towards decision on overall architecture and technologies used in our software productsWhat are we looking for A bachelors degree in computer science or a related field is required. Proven industry experience may be accepted as a substitute.Solid Experience in back-end development, especially in C# .NET and experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, Angular or React would be advantageousStrong Experience with .NET Web APISolid Experience working with DatabasesKnowledge or experience with Azure cloud services would be advantageous but is not essentialAn excellent team player who enjoys collaborating with other developers on your teamThe right attitude is more important to us than your skills or experience.
