This is a senior, high-impact opportunity to join a successful and fast-scaling payments business with a genuinely broad, end-to-end payments offering.
We're looking for a Sales Director-level individual contributor - someone who can own and close large, complex mid corporate to enterprise level deals, operate confidently across the full payments landscape, and act as a trusted commercial partner to senior stakeholders. While this role starts as an individual contributor, there is a clear pathway into sales leadership as the business continues to scale its commercial function.
The opportunity:
You'll have the autonomy to shape your own go-to-market strategy, target strategic accounts across the UK & Europe, and sell a wide range of payment solutions into mid-corporate through to enterprise customers. This is a role for someone who understands how different payment products fit together and can sell multi-product, multi-region solutions.
What you'll be doing:
- Owning and winning new enterprise and mid-corporate business across the UK & Europe
- Targeting strategic opportunities and building long-term relationships with senior decision-makers
- Selling a full suite of payment solutions, including:
- Card acquiring & payments processing - embedded payments - card issuing & prepaid card programmes - digital wallets & alternative payment methods - FX and cross-border payment solutions
- Running complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from initial engagement through to close
- Developing and executing your own go-to-market strategy and sales plan
- Positioning yourself as a trusted advisor, aligning payment solutions to client growth, risk, and operational needs
- Managing a robust pipeline with a mix of deal sizes and sales cycles
- Feeding market insight back into the business to help shape product, pricing, and future growth areas
About you:
- A proven Sales Director / Senior Enterprise Sales & business development professional within payments
- Broad, hands-on knowledge across multiple payment products including cards & embedded payments
- Strong track record of closing new-logo mid-market and enterprise deals, including larger, complex opportunities
- Comfortable selling at C-suite and senior leadership level in a solution-led environment
- Commercially astute, highly self-motivated, and confident operating as a senior individual contributor
- Strong negotiation skills with the credibility to lead high-value commercial discussions
- Entrepreneurial mindset who enjoys building markets, opening doors, and influencing strategy
