Who We’re Looking For

We're on the lookout for a meticulous Senior Merchant Onboarding & Ongoing Due Diligence Officer who will drive KYC, risk assessments, and compliance processes for our diverse e-commerce and POS/SoftPOS merchants.

What You’ll Do

  • Review Merchant business profiles in line with Company’s procedures, acceptance policies and Scheme regulations, using all accessible tools and systems.
  • Conduct KYC and merchant business due diligence activities.
  • Complete risk assessments of merchants’ business model.
  • Review merchant alerts and update merchant files accordingly.
  • Ensure ongoing monitoring and maintenance of merchant files, revisit and process information related to merchant changes (products, services, business models, etc.).
  • Review pre-approval applications
  • Review post boarding change requests.
  • Ensure that existing merchants’ records are up to date as required by company’s procedures, acceptance policies and regulations.
  • Liaise with Relationship Managers, ensuring full Merchant application and KYC package is collected, providing advice on necessary documentation.
  • Ensure that relevant Card Schemes recommendations and requirements with regard to the prospective Merchant are met.
  • Participate in any ongoing team projects that relate to streamlining onboarding.
  • Work with 3rd party monitoring solutions.

What You Bring

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in acquiring and merchant onboarding and due diligence reviews.
  • Educated to a degree level.
  • Knowledge of Card Schemes’ requirements.
  • Fluent English.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
