Engineering Manager | Remote | £80,000 – £90,000

A fast-growing SaaS company is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team of full-stack developers working on a widely used, scalable digital platform.

You'll play a key role in shaping engineering culture, guiding technical delivery, and supporting a talented team that works across C#, JavaScript, modern web technologies, cloud infrastructure, and data services.

This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who enjoys coaching developers, driving technical excellence, and influencing long-term product and engineering direction.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, mentor, and support a distributed team of full-stack engineers
  • Develop and maintain a strong engineering culture focused on autonomy, collaboration, and high-quality delivery
  • Guide technical planning, execution, testing practices, and continuous improvement
  • Partner with product and design teams to deliver features and enhancements across a large-scale SaaS platform
  • Participate in technical discussions, architectural decisions, and long-term strategic direction
  • Remove delivery blockers, clarify priorities, and streamline processes across engineering
  • Support developers in skill development, career growth, and sustainable delivery rhythms
  • Optionally engage in code reviews or provide hands-on support for complex technical challenges

What You'll Bring

  • Experience managing or mentoring software developers in a high-performing engineering team
  • Technical background, ideally with C# and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with technologies used in modern SaaS environments (e.g., ASP.NET MVC, HTML5, CSS, Canvas API, WebAudio API, SQL databases, Azure, Selenium)
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to bring structure and clarity to complex situations
  • A passion for developing people, improving processes, and enabling effective, scalable engineering practices

Why It's a Great Fit

You'll have the autonomy to shape engineering culture, support talented developers, and influence the evolution of a high-growth SaaS platform. It's a chance to lead meaningful technical work in a remote-first, product-driven organisation with long-term ambitions.
