Full Stack Engineer

.NET Developer | Permanent | UK Remote | 45,000 - 55,000 p.a.

Peaple Talent have partnered with an EdTech client in the UK looking to recruit for a .Net Developer on a full-time permanent basis.

Our client is looking for candidates who can exceed in full-stack development, which is C# and JavaScript.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, robust, and scalable applications using the .Net framework and C#. Including writing clean, well-documented, and efficient code while adhering to established software development standards and best practices.
  • Work closely with other teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Participate in architectural discussion and contribute to the overall design of new features and systems.
  • Create and execute unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure the reliability and performance of applications. Identify and resolve software defects, bugs, and performance issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist with the deployment of applications to various environments (development, staging, production) using CI/CD pipelines. Provide ongoing support for deployed applications, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary updates and patches.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends related to .NET and software development. Proactively identify opportunities to improve exciting codebases, development processes, and team efficiency.

Key Experience Required:

  • Previous commercial experience in developing applications using the .Net framework or .Net core. A strong command of C# and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Proven experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, including the ability to design database schemas, write complex queries, and work with ORM frameworks like Entity Framework.
  • Expertise in building and consuming RESTful APIs, as well as developing web applications using ASP.NET Core MVC, Blazor, or similar technologies. Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is also valuable.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, including services for hosting applications, databases, and serverless functions. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like Azure DevOps or Jenkins is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience working in an agile environment. The ability to collaborate effectively within a team, participate in code reviews, and contribute to a fast-paced development cycle is crucial.
