IT Project Consultant

Role: 3rd Line Engineer

Location: Bristol

Salary: up to £60,000

The Role:

• Technical Escalation: Act as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues and project challenges.
• Project Delivery: Lead projects end-to-end, from scoping and planning to execution and completion.
• Pre-sales Support: Collaborate with the pre-sales function to design effective technical solutions and proposals.
• Client Engagement: Work directly with clients - building relationships, understanding needs, and ensuring project satisfaction.
• Process & Quality: Manage and improve project processes, documentation, and quality standards.
• Team Collaboration: Support and mentor engineers, bridging the gap between technical delivery and leadership.

The Candidate:

• Virtualization: VMware, Windows Server environments
• Networking: Layer 2/3 switching, wireless network design, connectivity solutions
• Security & Data Protection: Backups, replication, data integrity
• Cloud & Automation: Azure (preferred), AWS, monitoring, scripting, automation

The Package:

Base salary: up to £60,000
