Solutions Engineer (London Area)

Pre-Sales Engineer | London (Hybrid working) | Permanent

Peaple Talent have partnered with an IT consultancy business in London looking to recruit a Senior Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer.

This role will involve working hands-on to design an deploy cutting-edge remote desktop and virtualization solutions for high-profile clients across the EMEA region.

You will collaborate closely with both the Sales and Tech teams, offering support throughout the pre-sales and post-sales process. Your work will span everything from solution architecture and proof-of-concept development to full-scale production implementation.

This position includes travel to customer sites.

Key Experience Required:

• Proven track record of leading and executing enterprise level IT deployments in both advisory and hands-on implementation capacities.
• Well-versed in core networking technologies, such as routing, switching, firewall configurations, and traffic load distribution.
• Solid background in pre-sales support, with excellent interpersonal abilities and a strong focus on client engagement.
• Skilled in designing and deploying VDI environments across hybrid or cloud infrastructures, including platforms like Azure, AWS, and Citrix Cloud.
• In-depth understanding of data centre infrastructure, system integration, and administrative operations.
• Deep knowledge of desktop virtualization platforms, including VMWare, Citrix, and Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Practical experience working with both Linux and Windows environments.
• Familiar with a range of remote connectivity solutions, such as Citrix, Omnissa Horizon, and HP Anyware/PCoIP.
