Associate – Digital Infrastructure / AI Infrastructure – Infrastructure Private Equity Fund

An infrastructure private equity fund is seeking an Associate to join its London-based investment team, with a focus on digital infrastructure and emerging AI infrastructure themes.

The team invests across sectors including data centres, fibre, telecoms, connectivity, and broader technology-enabled infrastructure opportunities across Europe and North America.

This is an opportunity to work on complex, high-profile transactions alongside an experienced and highly active investment team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of investments across the full deal lifecycle, including origination, underwriting, due diligence, structuring, and execution.
  • Build and maintain sophisticated financial models across digital infrastructure and AI-related investment opportunities.
  • Conduct detailed market analysis on subsectors including data centres, fibre, telecoms, cloud, connectivity, compute infrastructure, and adjacent power themes.
  • Prepare investment committee materials and present key commercial and financial findings to senior stakeholders.
  • Work closely with portfolio companies on strategic initiatives, growth opportunities, and value creation projects.

Candidate Profile

  • 1.5–5 years of experience within a leading investment bank or infrastructure private equity platform.
  • Strong preference for top-ranked candidates from TMT, Media & Communications, Digital Infrastructure, or Sponsors teams with direct transaction exposure.
  • Outstanding academic and professional track record with clear evidence of being a top performer.
  • Strong technical skillset including advanced financial modelling, valuation, and transaction execution capabilities.
  • Demonstrated interest in digital infrastructure, AI infrastructure, connectivity, telecoms, or broader technology-enabled infrastructure themes.
  • Commercially sharp, intellectually curious, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-performing environment.
