AI Technical Architect

This is a unique opportunity to join a highly regarded Microsoft partner as their first dedicated AI Technical Architect, leading the design and delivery of real-world, enterprise-level AI solutions for clients across various industries.

This is not a research role, it's about hands-on delivery of intelligent, data-driven products, integrating tools like Azure OpenAI, Power Platform and Microsoft Fabric into client environments to create measurable business impact.

You'll own the technical architecture, work closely with cross-functional teams (including cloud, data, and app delivery) and engage with clients to run workshops, shape roadmaps, and deliver cutting-edge proof of concepts. • Designing and delivering scalable, production-grade AI solutions across cloud environments.
• Leading technical architecture and solution design across data, AI and Microsoft platforms.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external clients to scope, advise and implement AI use cases.
• Supporting pre-sales, proof of concept builds and high-level design workshops.
• Helping define the direction and growth of the AI capability in-house, this is the first hire into the AI practice.

• Proven experience designing and delivering AI/ML projects end-to-end (3+ minimum).
• Strong background in Azure data architecture or engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI or other Microsoft Cognitive Services.
• Working knowledge of Power Platform/CoPilot and ability to integrate across the Microsoft stack.
• Ability to advise on AI strategy, data modelling, architecture and security.
• Functional skills to support consulting, workshops and pre-sales conversations.
• Experience working in a technical architect role, not just engineering or development.
