Job summary

Are you interested in data and supporting/implementing clear processes across Child and Adolescent Mental Health Care hub?

You will be at the forefront of key data quality analyst for ensuring that the quality of data from CAMHS meets the requirements for Key performance indicator's that impact across the care Hub.

Main duties of the job

You will work as a key member of a dynamic and committed Care Hub and your work will make a difference to the lives of many with mental health needs. You must have a good operational understanding of PARIS & knowledge of a CAMHS services, be confident in managing and leading change, possess the ability toquickly form productive relationships across a range of stakeholders and be able to use data from a range of sources to support achieving KPI objectives.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

Essential
  • Diploma level / professional IM&T qualification or significant professional experience in a data quality environment
Desirable
  • Relevant degree or statistics qualification

EXPERIENCE

Essential
  • Experience of administration within a mental health setting and experience of handling confidential patient information.
  • Experience of report preparation
  • Experience of data analysis
  • Experience of working to short deadlines
  • Experience of team working
Desirable
  • Experience of working within a IAPT service
  • Experience of synthesising, analysing and interpreting data, relating to the needs of an organisation.
  • Experience of contributing to a data quality improvement plan
  • Experience of working with small groups of staff in a training capacity
  • Experience of working with the Health & Social Care Information Centre (HSCIC) requirements and data reporting systems.

KNOWLEDGE

Desirable
  • Working knowledge of NHS clinical reporting systems
  • Working knowledge of Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint, statistical concepts and SPSS or similar packages.
  • Knowledge of the relevant IAPT key performance indicators
  • Knowledge of complex data, data structures and data flows
  • Ability to work under pressure and produce high quality work to tight deadlines, and adjust workload to meet conflicting demands
  • Investigating and resolving complex issues by interpreting information, using judgement when information is not clearly defined
  • Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality, and the Data Protection Act 1998
