Project Manager - Pensions & Operations Change Delivery
DescriptionWe have an exciting opportunity to join our change team at PIC for a Project Manager to lead and deliver projects involving third-party administrators who operate in the pensions and software space. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and proven experience in managing external vendors to ensure successful project outcomes.Responsibilities:Responsible for the full delivery lifecycle of assigned projects.Interact with key stakeholders ensuring the business expectations are managed effectively.Provide regular update and status reporting to the PMO according to project and change function requirements.Lead the development of the project objectives, required target model and deliverables at completion and log, co-ordinate and escalate any risks and issues.Develop and maintain appropriately detailed plans, drawing out key milestones, decision and delivery points and resource requirements.Managing both internal and external resource within a multi work stream environment.RequirementsProven experience of managing complex projects in a Financial Services environment, ideally insurance or adjacent with knowledge of the regulator (PRA and FCA).Technical:Good working knowledge and fluency in the customer operations business domainGood technical knowledge in the project delivery of operations/pensions applications Established knowledge of the Finance Operating ModelExperience of delivering changeRecognised qualifications in project managementIdeally with knowledge of insurance or pensions Personal: Advanced knowledge of Stakeholder and Sponsor engagementCommercial judgementAbility to persuade and influence both directly and indirectlyAbility to manage people and other resources effectivelyAbility to organise work to meet deadlinesAbility to work within defined procedures as recommended by functional teamsDEI at PIC:At PIC, we believe that true innovation stems from embracing diverse perspectives, backgrounds and experiences.
