Position: Solutions Consultant

Reporting to: Managed Solutions Manager (Managed Solutions)

Location: Epsom Town Centre (on-site)

Purpose:

The position of a Solution Consultant is to identify, open and develop new and existing managed solution opportunities in a pro-active sales environment.

  • Develop technical expertise and market awareness in line with their business area.

  • Achieve and manage personal / corporate targets and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing technical and market awareness.
  • Responsible for identifying and developing relationships with prospective clients, both over the telephone and through face-to-face meetings.
  • Responsible for booking meetings with prospective clients, to discuss new opportunities and understand business requirements.
  • Responsible for the identification of suitable candidates to fulfil client requirements – this will include headhunting and candidate interviewing.
  • Responsible for negotiating terms and conditions of business.
  • Responsible for managing and negotiating contract renewals with existing customers.
  • Will manage end to end process of candidate deployment including but not limited to contractual, travel and accommodation logistics.
  • Provide pro-active customer service to both client and candidate stakeholders pertaining to contractual, salary and general service satisfaction.
  • Responsible for working with the designated Manager in achieving team and personnel objectives.
  • At all times maintain and record accurate data on the database

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Strong Sales negotiation and sales closing skills.
  • Suitable experience in generating brand-new business sales opportunities in IT Sales.
  • Demonstrable success in new business sales; you should have a proven track record of delivering growth within a complex client portfolio.
  • The ability to be innovative and creative where you can challenge conventional thinking and push the boundaries of established practise.
  • Excellent computer skills including Word / Excel / PowerPoint.
  • History of achieving personal and divisional sales targets.
  • Proven experience of face-to-face client engagement.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Ideally 2+ years sales experience
