Software Engineering Manager

Location: Manchester - 2 days/week in-office with lots flexibility

Type: Full-Time, reporting directly to the CEO

Main Responsibilities:

Manage cross-functional coordination with a strong focus on people leadership (80%) and occasional hands-on coding (20%).

You will be leading the development of premium online slot games, distributed via the largest platforms in the iGaming industry.

• Oversee end-to-end software development—guiding both technical and creative aspects to ensure smooth delivery aligned with product vision.
• Set up and optimize workflows, ensuring timely delivery through structured project management.
• Offer technical leadership through architecture insights, occasional coding, code reviews, and troubleshooting.
• Champion innovation and the adoption of emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
• Utilize Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) to manage tasks, track progress, and facilitate collaboration.

Desired Experience:

• Deep understanding of software development and gaming technologies within online casino or slot games.
• Demonstrated experience managing technical teams.
• Proficiency in Agile environments, with hands-on knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong ability to lead, mentor, and motivate.
