Japanese speaking Developer Support Engineer
Salary: £20 to £30 per hour = £39,000 to £58,500 per annum
Location: London
Job status: temporary agency worker, 12 months contract

International entertainment company is looking for a Japanesespeaking Developer Support Engineer.
Japanesespeaking Developer Support Engineer - Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality partner support through our ticketing systems (DevNet and Help Center), ensuring timely and accurate resolution of inquiries
- Work closely with senior Readiness team members to implement operational readiness plans for the Partner deliverables
- Implement all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with the highest level of quality across Access & Account, Hardware, Support, Release, and Events Operations
- Contribute to and maintain knowledge bases for support processes and operational workflows
- Participate in developer communications (news articles, bulletins, forum posts) and support developer events and technical conferences
- Collaborate regularly with DevNet application development teams and DTG management to track metrics and improve service quality
Japanesespeaking Developer Support Engineer - Requirements
- Ability to learn and master company-specific software
- Ability to diagnose & address application issues
- Industry relevant experience managing delivery of 1 or more concurrent projects using proven project management principles
- Experience on Jira administration, including workflow configuration, project settings management, and portfolio setup
- Fluent written and spoken Japanese
Japanesespeaking Developer Support Engineer - Preferred
- Experience working in application and/or technical support field
- Project Management Certification
- Experience scripting in Python, JavaScript, & HTML5
- Understanding of current programming languages (C/C++)
- Understanding of contemporary source control software (SVN, Git, Perforce)
- Knowledge of and passion for console game development
- Knowledge of networking basics (TCP/IP, routing)
- Expert understanding of MS Office and Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, & Slides)
- BS degree in Computer Science and/or related field
