Business Development Manager
People Insight is looking for a BDM to join our growing team. In this role you will be responsible for sourcing, nurturing and closing a pipeline of outbound opportunities, as well as managing a small number of incoming leads. You'll be showcasing People Insight's employee experience platform and consultancy services to HR leaders in SME and enterprise organisations. You will work closely with your sales colleagues to ensure that our company's sales goals are met.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a pipeline of outbound and incoming leads.
- Develop at least one target sector (e.g. Hospitality, Construction, Retail etc.)
- Pitch and demonstrate People Insights' employee experience platform and consultancy services.
- Create compelling proposals and pitch decks
- Build trusted relationships with HR leaders within your prospective client base.
- Work closely with our Consultancy and Client Services teams to support clients through onboarding.
- Support the CRM/Account Management team with expanding the client portfolio
Requirements and skills
- 3 + years of experience in a similar role, preferably at a SaaS company with an HR focused offering
- Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills, being able to think on your feet
- Time management and personal organisational skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with potential clients
- Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A desire to learn and grow in the sales field
- Fast learner
Salary & Benefits
- £55,000-£60,000 p.a. base salary (OTE c.£75,000 - £80,000)
