Technical Operative - SC Cleared

This role operates under a shift pattern of 4pm - 12am and required active SC Clearance. Please do not apply for this role if you are not prepared to work these hours or if you do not hold clearance.

As a Technical Operative, you are the crucial link in preparing IT systems for major clients. This is a hands-on, detail-focused role perfect for someone with a strong technical foundation.

• System Building & Configuration: Provide basic to intermediate configuration services, includingsoftware installations and bespoke system setup, following detailed scripts.

• Essential Data Management: A significant part of the role (25-50%) involves accurate manual data input and record-keeping on spreadsheets. Accuracy and attention to detail are key!

• Logistics & Workflow: Efficiently manage your assignments, contribute to order consolidation, and handle the boxing, unboxing, and movement of IT equipment (including pallet movement).

• Team Communication: Practice strong up-line reporting to Supervisors/TLs, communicating progress (ahead or behind schedule) to ensure the overall client order is met on time.

• Target-Driven Work: Work proactively to meet driven targets and SLAs, leveraging strong time management skills.

You'll be a self-sufficient, team-oriented individual ready to make an immediate impact:

• IT Background: Knowledge of IT. componentry and familiarity with current Microsoft desktop Operating Systems.

• Data Entry Proficiency: Essential experience in data input (manual spreadsheet work).

• Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder reporting and teamwork.

• Work Ethic: Proactive team player with the flexibility to react to demands on short notice.

• Logistics Awareness: Ability to work to deadlines and manage physical tasks like boxing/unboxing and pallet movement.
