Business Analyst (Cambridge)

This role will require DV Clearance eventually, therefore I’m afraid we can only accept applications from UK Nationals and ideally those with SC Clearance.

The Client:

Our clients are a leading Systems & Engineering Consultancy with some large scale Government & Defence Contracts. They’re known for looking after their staff and providing an excellent working environment with sound prospects, training and development and a hybrid working environment – for this role you’ll need to be flexible to be in Cambridge a few days a week, potentially other client sites and the rest of the time wfh. The Role:

This role involves working in a Client facing capacity across a Government contract, namely Defence – you’ll be expected to use your own brand of analytical skills and experience to become familiar with complex business domains quickly, identify sustainable solutions and enable clients to transform effectively. This often involves managing multiple stakeholders and you will need to use effective written and verbal communication skills to ensure that we continue to transfer our knowledge and provide enduring value to clients.

Requirements:

As a Business Analyst you will add value to the business through helping develop our capabilities, securing new business opportunities or adding to a trusting and flexible culture.

You will be able to demonstrate a knowledge of the following:

• Working within a Defence, Security, Public Sector or Consultancy environment.
• Using Agile business analysis techniques (Scrum / DSDM / Kanban etc).
• Experience of digital transformation projects and programmes (within a government organisation (GDS)).
• Experience of business change and organisational design
• Experience in analysing process flows to identify inefficiencies and botte-necks
• Evidence of developing and proposing solutions, including process improvements, system enhancements, and new technologies

Process:

The interview process will be 2 x fold with Technical & Competency-based interviews conducted mainly across Teams. We’re looking for someone to join as soon as possible, though we’re happy to wait for the right person.
