Senior C++ Developer | Capital Markets Technology | £100-£120k | London

Peracto has been retained on a discreet search for a senior C++ engineer to join a globally deployed capital markets technology platform operating within high-performance transaction processing environments.

This is not a maintenance role.

The mandate sits within a core engineering group responsible for the evolution of a mission-critical system supporting complex trading support and downstream processing workflows across international financial institutions.

We are seeking a technically rigorous, commercially aware engineer who is comfortable operating at depth.

You will likely bring:

• 10+ years’ commercial C++ development experience

• Unix/Linux background

• Deep understanding of performance, memory management and system design

• Solid SQL capability (Oracle advantageous)

• Exposure to distributed architectures / messaging frameworks

• Experience within capital markets technology environments

The successful candidate will take ownership of functional areas, contribute to architectural direction, mentor selectively, and deliver clean, production-grade code within a focused agile structure.

Permanent appointment

£100,000 – £120,000 base (dependent on depth of experience)

London / hybrid
