Graduate Sage Intacct Consultant
About the Job
At Percipient, we don't just implement Sage Intacct. We help organisations transform the way they manage finance through expert consultancy, innovative solutions and long-term partnerships.
We're looking for a Graduate Sage Intacct Consultant to join our growing Consulting team.
This is an exciting opportunity to start your career in technology and business consultancy, learning from experienced Sage Intacct specialists while gaining hands-on experience across real customer projects.
You don't need previous Sage Intacct or ERP experience — we'll provide the training, mentoring and structured development you need to build your career as a consultant.
What You'll Be Doing
From day one, you'll work alongside experienced consultants, gradually building the knowledge and confidence to support the design, configuration and delivery of Sage Intacct solutions for our customers.
As you develop, you'll:
- Support the scoping, configuration and testing of Sage Intacct solutions across customer projects.
- Help produce high-quality project documentation, training materials and testing scenarios.
- Assist with customer workshops, system walkthroughs, testing, training and go-live support.
- Work on straightforward customer support queries with guidance from senior team members.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Customer Success, Support and other consultants to deliver a great customer experience.
- Build your understanding of financial processes, business systems, and consultancy best practices.
- Work towards Sage Intacct certifications as part of a structured graduate development plan.
- Take on increasing responsibility and customer-facing work as your experience and confidence grow.
What We're Looking For
We're much more interested in your potential, attitude and willingness to learn than in you arriving with years of experience. You'll thrive in this role if you're curious, analytical, enjoy solving problems, and are excited about working with both technology and people.
You'll ideally have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, IT/Computer Science or another relevant or numerate subject, or equivalent demonstrable experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to pick up new systems and processes quickly.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload and deadlines.
- A professional, customer-focused approach and the confidence to ask questions and seek support when needed.
- An interest in finance, accounting, technology or business processes.
- Good general IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Any exposure to finance, accounting, IT systems or customer-facing work through a placement, internship, part-time role or university project would be useful, but it's not essential. Likewise, if you're studying towards a qualification such as AAT, ACCA or CIMA, we'd be interested to hear from you — but it's certainly not a requirement.
Your Development
This isn't a graduate role where you'll be expected to figure everything out for yourself. You'll have day-to-day support and mentoring from experienced consultants, alongside a structured development plan designed to help you progress towards becoming a fully-fledged Sage Intacct Consultant.
During your first year, you'll move from shadowing colleagues and completing supervised tasks to taking greater ownership of configuration, documentation, testing, training and straightforward customer work.
You'll also work towards Sage Intacct certification and have opportunities over time to develop deeper expertise in areas such as Reporting, Planning & Budgets or Integrations.
Why Join Percipient?
At Percipient, people come first. Whether it's our customers or our team, we believe great relationships deliver great outcomes.
You'll be joining one of the UK's leading Sage Intacct partners and learning alongside experienced consultants and technical specialists who are passionate about delivering exceptional solutions.
This is a primarily remote role, with travel to our Northwich office and customer sites as required.
As Percipient continues to grow, you'll have the opportunity to grow with us, developing your skills, building your consultancy career and taking on increasingly interesting and rewarding customer projects.
You will also receive:
- Flexible working
- Opportunity for private healthcare
- 25 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays)
- Rewarding career opportunities
