Service Designer – (Hybrid, Croydon) (SC CLEARED)
Join Peregrine on a Major Government Transformation Programme
Peregrine is supporting a large-scale transformation within a UK government department and we’re looking for a Service Designer to join the multidisciplinary team. The role is open to a range of experience levels, Associate, Mid-weight or Senior.
🔐 Important: Active SC Clearance is required for this role.
💡 What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing and improving end-to-end services across discovery, alpha, beta and live
- Mapping user journeys, service blueprints, processes and touchpoints
- Facilitating workshops and co-design sessions with users and stakeholders
- Translating insights and research into practical service improvements
- Working closely with Product, UX, Research, Policy and Technical teams
- Presenting findings, concepts and recommendations to senior stakeholders
🎯 What We’re Looking For
(We are open to varied levels of experience)
- Active SC Clearance (essential)
- Experience designing services within multidisciplinary teams
- Strong skills in journey mapping, service blueprints & prototyping
- Ability to unpack complex problems and simplify service flows
- Confident running workshops and engaging with stakeholders
- Experience in agile or iterative environments
- Public sector / GDS familiarity is beneficial but not essential
