I'm recruiting an Azure Infrastructure Engineer for a leading financial services client, joining a busy infrastructure team with a steady pipeline of projects. Outside IR35, fully remote, running initially for 6 months with strong likelihood of extension.
You'll be a hands-on Azure all-rounder working directly on the production environment - taking architects' high-level designs through to delivered, working infrastructure, and equally comfortable troubleshooting inherited Terraform as building new.
What you'll be doing:
- Delivering Azure infrastructure primarily through Terraform, including picking up and fixing existing/inherited code
- Building environments to approved designs across networking, compute, identity and serverless
- Standing up and configuring applications and services, automating wherever possible
- Promoting releases through to production within formal change control
What I'm looking for:
- Strong, infrastructure-focused Azure expertise - a genuine all-rounder in live production estates
- Deep Terraform, including reading, troubleshooting and fixing inherited code
- Hands-on Azure API Management (APIM) - highly sought for this role
- Working knowledge of DevOps/IaC principles (Ansible welcome)
- Comfort in a regulated environment with elevated security and change governance
- AWS exposure and Azure AI Foundry experience a bonus
Competitive day rate (Outside IR35), depending on experience.
