London | Boutique Executive Search | £50,000–£60,000 + bonus
This is an opportunity to step into the engine room of a high-quality boutique executive search firm, working at the sharp end of interim C-suite delivery.
We’re recruiting on behalf of a London-based executive search business that specialises in placing interim CFOs, CEOs and CTOs into private equity–backed and listed businesses, primarily across consumer, media and technology.
This is very much a delivery-led role - ideal for someone who thrives on process, detail and pace, and wants exposure to senior stakeholders without being thrown into hard BD on day one.
The role
You’ll sit as a key part of the interim search function, working closely with a Partner and effectively acting as number two in the team.
Our client are also open to someone at Principal/Partner leve in a fee earning role. Salary c£80,000.
Typical assignments include:
- Interim CFO, CEO and CTO mandates
- Six-month contracts and upwards (with some retained perm work)
- UK-focused, with occasional US and European exposure
- Average day rates around £500
- Fast-paced searches, often turning around in a week or less
You’ll engage with:
- Private equity funds and investment directors
- Chairs, board members and senior executives
- FTSE 100 and complex international organisations
This role suits someone who is:
- Highly organised, process-driven and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working at pace on senior, high-stakes searches
- Naturally diligent, calm and professional with senior stakeholders
Background-wise, you could come from:
- Interim recruitment (ideal, but not essential)
- Contingent recruitment with strong delivery discipline
- A junior or delivery role within executive search (Interims)
Experience placing interim leadership or senior management profiles is a big plus, but strong crossover experience will absolutely be considered.
