Commercial Administrator - Salesforce

We have a rarely available opportunity for you to join our Commercial Sales Support department utilising your strong Salesforce and Advanced Excel skills within an international business operation. Initially on a 6 month contract basis but this could be extended or a permanent opportunity become available as we shape the department for the future growth of the company.

The role will report into the Commercial Manager with purpose of the role being for you to use your strong data, reporting and analytical skills for the benefit of the commercial sales department and the overall support of the sales department forecasts and data management.

The main duties of the role will be as follows:-Primary point of contact for all data-related matters, ensuring data integrity and accessibility across the organisation.Deliver accurate, data-driven forecasts to support strategic planning and informed decision-making.Calculate and maintain On-Target Earnings (OTE) projections to drive effective compensation planning and assess sales performance.Track, analyse, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for Senior Management to measure success and optimise business outcomes.Empower decision-making through actionable insights, translating complex data into clear, strategic recommendations.Act as Salesforce Data Steward, ensuring ongoing accuracy, completeness, and hygiene of all CRM data.Prepare and present sales data in readiness for executive and strategic meetings.Collaborate globally with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights that improve operational efficiency and business performance.

To be successful as our Commercial Administrator, you should have the following skills and experience:-Experience in collating and preparing data from diverse sources (systems, reports, and stakeholders) tailored for audiences ranging from technical teams to Senior Management.Skilled in data analysis with a solid background in commercial and sales operations, driving data-informed decision-making.Highly detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify trends, resolve issues, and enhance business performance.

Salesforce CRM Administration – proficient in maintaining data integrity, dashboards and reporting.Salesforce CRM Analytics – skilled in building dashboards, reports, and insights.Microsoft Excel (Advanced) – expert in complex formulas, large data set manipulation, and integration of data from Salesforce and Syspro.SharePoint – experienced in document management.

Experience of working in a commercial, sales, pricing or similar department would be an advantage although we will consider applicants who have gained the above skills in a different working environment.
