Business Development Executive
We’re partnering with a leading manufacturer and installer of innovative intercom and communication systems to recruit a high-energy, driven Business Development Executive to join their growing commercial team. This is not a role for someone who just “does sales” — we’re looking for a tenacious, curious, and commercially sharp go-getter who genuinely enjoys the thrill of uncovering opportunities, building relationships, and selling solutions that solve real customer problems.The Role You’ll take ownership of proactively developing and growing accounts across a broad customer base within the technology and security space. This will include:
- Re-engaging lapsed clients and developing existing accounts
- Identifying customer needs and translating them into tailored solution-based proposals
- Building strong relationships through consultative, value-led selling
- Conducting in-person client meetings, site visits, and product demonstrations
- Managing your own diary and covering a UK-wide territory
- Attending industry trade shows and exhibitions to network and generate new business
- Proven in B2B sales, ideally within a technology, security, or solution-based product environment
- Naturally hungry, driven, and resilient with a strong work ethic
- Curious by nature - someone who asks questions and digs deeper
- Confident in consultative selling and relationship building
- Excited by the idea of growing accounts rather than quick wins
- Comfortable working autonomously and managing their own pipeline
- Full UK driving licence holder (essential)
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Crawley-based office with UK-wide travel. Hybrid working available after 3 months
- £38,000 - £42,000pa + annual bonus + great company benefits
