The Opportunity
Our client is looking to appoint a ROC Shift Manager to join its state-of-the-art Remote Operations Centre in the Sheffield area.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with control room or process operations experience to join a global industry leader, where you'll play a key role in the safe and efficient operation of large-scale production facilities within a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
Offering a highly competitive package of £50,000 basic salary plus a £12,000 shift allowance, this role also provides genuine long-term career prospects. The business has an excellent reputation for promoting from within, with strong opportunities to progress into senior operational, technical or leadership positions within 3-5 years.

What's on Offer?
The position operates on a continuous 24/7 shift pattern, working a rotating mix of days and nights across a 6-week shift cycle, providing excellent team coverage and operational flexibility.
Don't Meet Every Requirement?
Please don't let that stop you applying.
We recognise that great candidates don't always tick every box on a job description. If your experience is broadly relevant and you believe you could bring strong problem-solving, communication and technical skills to the team, we'd be happy to have a conversation.
Training and support will be provided to help you develop your knowledge of the plants and systems you'll be responsible for.
Why Apply?
Alongside a competitive basic salary and shift allowance, you'll be joining a technically interesting environment where your decisions have a genuine impact on operational performance.
You'll gain exposure to multiple production facilities rather than being limited to a single site, developing a broad understanding of plant operations, control systems and operational decision-making.
There are also opportunities to develop beyond the position over time, with the experience gained within the ROC providing a strong foundation for progression into more senior operational, engineering and leadership positions.
We want to build a team with different experiences, perspectives and backgrounds and would particularly welcome applications from people who may not traditionally see themselves represented within engineering and operational leadership positions.
If the opportunity sounds interesting but you're unsure whether your background is an exact match, we'd still encourage you to get in touch for an informal conversation.
