About the Role
We are looking for a Dynamics 365 and Power Platform Analyst with real hands on experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Model Driven Apps. Our Recruitment CRM and ATS is built on Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform, and this role is central to how we shape, configure and support the platform.
You will work closely with users, product owners and the development team to elicit and refine requirements, understand constraints and opportunities within the platform, and translate ideas into clear user stories in Azure DevOps. You will also carry out configuration and administration tasks across Dynamics 365 and Power Apps, including building proof of concepts to validate early solution design before development.
This is a fully office based role in Meriden and is suited to someone who understands how Dynamics and Dataverse operate, enjoys being close to the product, and can act as the bridge between the business and the technical delivery team.
Key Responsibilities
• Engage with stakeholders to understand and document business processes and requirements
• Analyse requirements with awareness of Dynamics 365 and Dataverse constraints including forms, views, business rules, security and automation
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, diagrams and process flows in Azure DevOps
• Configure Dynamics 365 including fields, forms, views, option sets, business rules and Power Apps components
• Carry out platform administration including security roles, permissions, environments and solution structure
• Build proof of concepts and assist with demos to validate solution ideas early
• Work closely with developers and architects to ensure stories are feasible and aligned to platform standards
• Support UAT preparation, coordination and feedback management
• Maintain documentation for configuration decisions, data structures and business processes
• Identify opportunities for automation or simplification through Power Automate or supporting integrations
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand ups and reviews
• Support impact assessments and assist with change communication across the business
Skills and Experience
Essential
• Hands on experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Apps Model Driven Apps
• Practical configuration experience including forms, views, fields, business rules or solution structure
• Working knowledge of Dataverse (tables, relationships, security roles and data modelling concepts)
• Ability to build functional proof of concepts or prototypes using Power Apps or Power Automate
• Experience gathering and analysing requirements and translating them into clear user stories
• Ability to discuss data models, integrations and platform constraints confidently with developers
• Experience working in an Agile environment with Azure DevOps or equivalent tooling
• Strong analytical and documentation skills
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with users and technical teams
• Ability to work full time on site in the Meriden office five days a week
Desirable
Experience in or exposure to recruitment, staffing or case management environments
• Knowledge of Power Automate, solution layering, ALM principles or managed solutions
• Understanding of API integrations, data mapping or cross system impact
• Experience supporting UAT or test activities
• Awareness of Power BI
