About the Company

Our client is an award-winning and internationally recognised education technology business, creating engaging, structured learning programmes for children.

Their products combine evidence-informed literacy instruction with creative digital experiences, including characters, games, music and humour, to help children build confidence in reading, spelling and language.

Working closely with schools, educators and families, the organisation is committed to creating inclusive learning experiences that support a wide range of literacy needs. Its products help teachers embed literacy support into everyday practice, providing both preventative and intervention-based tools for learners at different stages of their educational journey.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Product Manager to help shape the future direction of a well-established suite of digital learning products.

This is a distinctive opportunity combining educational expertise, product thinking and creative collaboration. You will operate at the intersection of learning science, product development and learner engagement, ensuring that new and evolving products deliver meaningful educational outcomes while remaining motivating and enjoyable for children.

Working closely with Creative, Games, Platform and Technology teams, you will act as the educational lead within the product development process. You will translate customer needs, educational research and market opportunities into clear product priorities and engaging learning experiences.

You will work with a truly inspirational leadership team, and really have the platform to make your mark on this fantastic, growth oriented company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the educational direction and learning roadmap across a portfolio of digital learning products.
  • Shape learner journeys, progression pathways, assessment approaches and intervention support.
  • Collaborate with Creative and Games teams to design engaging, accessible and effective learning experiences.
  • Ensure products align with evidence-informed literacy approaches and recognised intervention practice.
  • Partner with Platform and Technology teams to improve reporting, learner insights and usability for teachers and schools.
  • Translate customer feedback, educational research and market opportunities into clear product priorities.
  • Balance educational impact, learner engagement, technical feasibility and commercial objectives.
  • Contribute to roadmap planning and wider product strategy across UK and international markets.

About You

You may come from a product management, education, curriculum development, learning design or related background. Most importantly, you will have a strong understanding of how children learn, particularly in literacy, and how educational products can create meaningful impact.

You will bring:

  • Strong knowledge of structured literacy approaches and evidence-informed literacy instruction.
  • Broad and practical knowledge of SEND, particularly dyslexia and literacy intervention.
  • Up-to-date understanding of literacy research, intervention approaches and dyslexia-friendly practice.
  • Experience shaping educational products, content, curricula or learning experiences.
  • The ability to translate research, insight and best practice into effective learner outcomes.
  • Confidence using customer insight, educational research, learner data and market needs to inform product and prioritisation decisions.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with experience working across multidisciplinary teams.
  • A genuine empathy for young learners and a commitment to creating engaging, accessible and inclusive learning experiences.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience working in EdTech, digital learning products, educational publishing or curriculum development.
  • Product management experience, including product discovery, roadmap planning, prioritisation or requirements definition.
  • Experience working with agile product, technology, creative or games development teams.
  • Familiarity with educational reporting, assessment, learner analytics or intervention tracking.
  • Experience supporting products across multiple curricula, markets or educational systems.
  • Confidence working with content management systems and digital product tools.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a purpose-led organisation whose products make a genuine difference to children, families and schools around the world. This is an opportunity not to miss!
