Omnichannel Systems Administrator – Linux Ready to take ownership of a fast-paced, high-availability Linux environment? We’re looking for an Omnichannel Systems Administrator (Linux) to join a growing IT team and keep mission-critical infrastructure secure, stable, and performing at its best.The Role In this hands-on position, you’ll manage and optimise Linux systems (Red Hat/CentOS), support Windows environments, and ensure compliance with strict security standards. You’ll work across hybrid cloud platforms, particularly AWS, troubleshoot complex network issues, and collaborate closely with development, security, and operations teams. If you love solving problems, tightening security, and driving automation, this is your stage.What You’ll Be Doing
  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers across physical and virtual environments.
  • Provide Windows workstation support when required.
  • Monitor system performance, stability, and security.
  • Troubleshoot issues across the full TCP/IP networking stack.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
  • Apply patches, updates, and security baselines in line with compliance standards.
  • Support cloud infrastructure (AWS EC2, S3, IAM, VPC).
  • Implement robust backup and disaster recovery processes.
  • Maintain clear documentation, logs, and inventories.
  • Ensure PCI DSS compliance and assist with incident response activities.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, security, and operations teams.
  • Drive improvements and automation using scripting and modern tooling.
What You’ll Bring
  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, or relevant experience.
  • 3–5 years’ Linux systems administration (Red Hat / CentOS).
  • Experience supporting Windows environments.
  • Strong networking knowledge (CCNA-level).
  • Hands-on AWS experience (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC).
  • Understanding of PCI DSS and secure system practices.
  • Scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python, Ansible).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and documentation capabilities.
Nice to Have
  • RHCSA (or higher).
  • CCNA certification.
  • Experience with monitoring tools and configuration management.
  • Exposure to Git, CI/CD pipelines, VMware or KVM.
  • Knowledge of hardening and vulnerability management.
