Junior Developer

About Us

Pharmica is the #1 rated pharmacy in the UK on Trustpilot, trusted by over 1.85 million customers. No corporate red tape, no endless meetings. Just a team that ships real products that genuinely help people, and we're looking for someone at the start of their career to join us and grow.

The Role

This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or junior developer who wants to learn and progress. You'll start primarily on frontend work (building responsive interfaces, crafting email templates, working with modern CSS) but you'll have a clear path to full-stack development if that's where you want to go.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Building and maintaining frontend interfaces with HTML, CSS, and Tailwind
  • Creating email templates (we use MJML)
  • Working with JavaScript across our applications
  • Transitioning to .NET backend work within approximately 3 months (if you want to)

What We're Looking For

  • Solid understanding of HTML and CSS (Tailwind experience is a plus)
  • JavaScript fundamentals
  • A degree in Computer Science or similar (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience with modern JS frameworks or willingness to learn
  • Any personal projects or a GitHub profile you can share

Your Growth Path

We're flexible about your direction. If you want to move into backend development with C# and .NET, we'll support that transition, typically within your first 3 months. If you'd prefer to specialise in frontend, that works too. Either way, you'll be mentored by experienced developers who genuinely want to help you improve.

What Actually Matters to Us

Curiosity and enthusiasm. We don't expect you to know everything. We want someone who's eager to learn, asks questions, and genuinely enjoys writing code. If you spend your spare time building things or exploring new technologies, we want to hear from you.
