Time & Attendance Consultant

Purpose of the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Consultant to lead complex Time & Attendance system modernisation projects, migrating customers from on-premise legacy systems to cloud-based SaaS solutions. This role combines deep technical expertise with customer-facing delivery skills, requiring the successful candidate to manage end-to-end migrations while providing training and support throughout the transformation process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead system migrations, upgrades, and integrations (SQL Server, cloud, biometric terminals, payroll/HR platforms)
  • Configure SaaS/cloud environments and manage legacy decommissioning
  • Deliver customer workshops, UAT support, and end-user training
  • Manage project timelines, technical deliverables, and system validation
  • Document outcomes and hand over to support teams

Essential Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience with Time & Attendance systems (Mitrefinch/OneAdvanced preferred)
  • Strong SQL Server (2012+), Windows Server, and cloud migration expertise
  • Knowledge of payroll, HR, ESS, and biometric terminal systems
  • Experience with network configuration, VPN setup, and firewall management
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, training, and customer delivery
  • Experience leading UAT processes
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, willing to travel to customer sites (up to 40%)

Salary: £35,000 - £55,000 + 15% OTE dependent on experience
