Chief Growth Officer / MD Designate

With a strong reputation, loyal client base, recurring revenues, and ambitious expansion plans, the business is entering its next chapter — scaling market share, accelerating revenue, and preparing for a future liquidity event.
This is more than a functional leadership role. It is a genuine route to Managing Director within 6–12 months for the right individual.
The Opportunity
You will take ownership of the full growth agenda — driving revenue acceleration, market expansion, go-to-market excellence, demand generation, strategic partnerships, and commercial performance.
Working closely with the company founders and investors, you will help transform a successful business into a category leader.
This role is best suited to an ambitious commercial leader with a sales and marketing background who has already delivered strong results in enterprise technology, software, SaaS, or digital services — and is now ready to step into a broader executive leadership position.
What You'll Own
- Creating and executing a high-impact growth strategy to accelerate revenue and market share
- Building a go-to-market engine across sales, marketing, partnerships, and customer growth
- Driving pipeline generation, conversion rates, and predictable revenue performance
- Unlocking new markets, sectors, and strategic opportunities
- Enhancing pricing, propositions, and commercial positioning
- Leading a modern, ROI-focused strategic marketing function — from brand and demand generation through to content, digital, and campaign execution
- Building strategic alliances and route-to-market partnerships
- Using data, forecasting, and KPIs to sharpen decision-making and performance
- Aligning sales, product, delivery, and customer success around growth outcomes
- Helping shape the future direction of the business at board level
Who We're Looking For
- A sales and marketing background with genuine strength across both disciplines
- Expertise in strategic marketing — from positioning and proposition development through to demand generation, digital, and campaign performance
- A strong track record in enterprise B2B software, SaaS, or digital services
- Deep public sector software sales experience.
- Experience leading growth, revenue, or commercial functions at senior level
- Success building teams, systems, and scalable commercial processes
- Strong understanding of pipeline creation, GTM execution, and revenue metrics
- Gravitas to influence boards, senior stakeholders, and major clients
- Ambition to step into a Managing Director role in the near term
