Quality Analyst - Woking, Surrey - £35,000–£40,000 per annum - Hybrid working – 3 days in the office

The Opportunity

We're recruiting exclusively on behalf of an established yet fast-growing and highly ambitious digital solutions provider serving the NHS and Social Housing sectors, for a newly created Quality Analyst role — broader in scope than a traditional QA position.

At its core, you'll be carrying out diligent, line-by-line testing of front-end web solutions — portals, intranets and websites — for our client's customers. But this role goes further than standard QA: you'll also assess whether the solutions being delivered actually meet the original customer goals and KPIs they were built for, working closely with the creative team's workshops and user journey mapping to understand what "good" really looks like.

This is a genuine first hire into a brand-new function — a rare opportunity to help define how quality assurance works at this business, with a clear path to potentially building and managing a small team as the business grows.

What Our Client Is Looking For

Personality counts more than technical pedigree here. Patience and diligence are the must-haves — someone who can methodically work through a solution, spot what's wrong, and stay focused doing it.

Our client is open to candidates from two backgrounds:

• QA testers with front-end web testing experience (portals, intranets, websites)
• Web CMS editors or content administrators — ideally those from NHS, social housing or local authority teams — looking to move into a QA-focused role

No coding is required. That said, an interest in AI and automation is a genuine plus, and light scripting exposure will help — full training and support will be provided.

Automation & AI Remit

Manual QA processes are repetitive, and this role carries a mandate to streamline them. In time, you'll research, test and recommend automation tools and AI-assisted approaches to improve how solutions are validated. No specific tools are mandated by the business — you'll have the freedom to propose what fits, with dedicated time set aside for this work.
