Applications Engineer (Azure)

We're working with a highly respected organisation looking to hire an Azure Cloud Application Engineer into their growing applications team. This is a newly created role, offering the opportunity to shape integrations, influence architecture, and act as a technical SME within a collaborative engineering environment.

Key details:

  • Location - Liverpool Street/Moorgate
  • Salary: £80,000 - £90,000
  • Hybrid working: 3 days in office (4 days during onboarding period)
  • Reporting into Head of Applications
  • Part of a close-knit team of 3 within a wider cross-functional engineering function

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimise Azure integrations using Azure Integration Services
  • Act as technical product owner for Azure-based applications
  • Work closely with MDM and other enterprise systems
  • Manage configuration, deployment, and ongoing support of integrations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive improvements
  • Contribute to Agile ceremonies and backlog management
  • Ensure security, compliance, and best practice across integrations

Technology environment:

  • Azure Integration Services
  • Logic Apps, Function Apps
  • C#, .NET, Blazor
  • DevOps and GitHub (desirable)
  • MDM platforms and enterprise systems

What we're looking for:

  • Strong Azure Integration experience
  • Proven background in application development with C# and .NET
  • Experience building scalable, secure integrations
  • Confident stakeholder engagement skills
  • A collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving
