Senior AI Security Architect

We re working with our client, a leading global organisation, to recruit a Senior Manager level AI Security Architect to take ownership of the security architecture for its enterprise AI ecosystem, including a flagship internal AI platform used across the business.

Sitting within the Digital Trust & AI Security function, this role is central to enabling secure innovation at scale. you'll combine deep technical expertise with senior-level influence, helping to shape how AI is designed, deployed, and governed across the organisation.

you'll be responsible for:

• Owning and designing the security architecture for enterprise AI platforms and workloads

• Leading Identity and Access Management architecture for AI, with a strong focus on machine and workload identities

• Defining and embedding AI security governance, standards, and secure-by-design principles

• Providing hands-on architectural leadership across Azure and Microsoft Entra ID

• Partnering with engineering, cloud, and product teams to integrate security into AI development and delivery

• Acting as a senior escalation point for AI, IAM, and security architecture decisions

• Supporting audit, regulatory, and assurance requirements related to AI security

• Influencing senior stakeholders and mentoring technical teams

What you'll bring:

• Deep expertise across IAM, including AD, Entra ID, PAM, IGA, Conditional Access, and machine identities

• Strong Microsoft security and cloud architecture background

• Experience securing AI platforms or complex cloud-based systems

• Confidence operating at Senior Manager level, with the ability to influence and lead

Hybrid working: minimum 3 days per week in the office.

Desirable: experience in highly regulated or professional services environments, security architecture certifications (CISSP, SABSA, TOGAF), Zero Trust, multi-cloud exposure, or application security experience.
