Our client, a leading international law firm, is looking for a Legal Technologist to join its Innovation & Legal Technology team in Manchester. This is an opportunity for someone who sits comfortably at the intersection of legal services, technology and consulting, and who enjoys turning business and process challenges into practical technology solutions.

What you'll be doing
- Working with lawyers, IT, business teams and clients to understand requirements and deliver innovative technology solutions
- Analysing legal processes and translating business requirements into technical solutions
- Configuring and implementing legal technology solutions
- Supporting technology selection and advising clients on appropriate solutions
- Running or supporting requirements workshops and process-mapping exercises
- Delivering user training and helping clients adopt new technology
- Contributing to proof of concepts and exploring emerging technologies, including GenAI
- Keeping up to date with developments across the legal technology market
What you'll need
- Previous experience in a Legal Technology, Legal Innovation or technology consulting role
- Hands-on experience configuring legal technology solutions
- Experience with legal technology or Legal AI tools, such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, Copilot, CLM, matter management, HighQ or legal AI platforms
- Experience analysing user requirements and translating them into practical technology solutions
- Strong technical aptitude combined with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
- An understanding of how legal work is delivered and the challenges facing the legal services sector
- A curious and innovative approach to emerging technology
Experience within a law firm or professional services environment would be advantageous.
