Network Engineer

A well-established technology company in Belfast is expanding its network and security capability and is looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join its growing technical team.

This role offers exposure to a mix of environments, working on business-critical networks where reliability, security and performance really matter. You'll be part of a technically capable team delivering robust, real-world solutions rather than ticking boxes.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting and maintaining enterprise WAN, LAN and wireless networks
• Troubleshooting complex network and connectivity issues
• Configuring and managing Cisco-based network infrastructure
• Working with Fortinet network and security technologies across firewall, switching and wireless
• Assisting with network upgrades, improvements and project delivery
• Providing input into network design, resilience and security best practice

What we're looking for

• 4+ years' experience in a network engineering or infrastructure role
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies
• CCNA certification (or equivalent hands-on experience)
• A reliable, technically strong engineer who enjoys problem-solving and ownership
• Ideally some exposure to Fortinet solutions
