The Role
As an Account Manager, you will be a key member of our dynamic Sales Organization, serving as a trusted sales advisor to the end users of our PayFac and ISV partners. Your primary mission will be to assist our partners' merchants in onboarding, qualifying, and activating their Pipe offers. In this role, you'll own the entire sales cycle from the initial engagement to the deal closure.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Engage with partner merchants, understanding their needs and demonstrating how our Pipe offerings can meet their business objectives
- Manage the entire sales cycle, including prospecting, lead qualification, presentation, negotiation, and closing
- Serve as a dedicated advisor, providing expertise and guidance to ensure a seamless
- onboarding and activation experience
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, aiming to meet or exceed targets
- Collaborate closely with the Customer Success and Customer Service teams to ensure a cohesive customer journey and sustained satisfaction
- Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams to help shape our offerings based on market needs and customer feedback
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of experience in a related field
- Proven track record in sales or customer-facing roles, ideally within a fintech, credit, SaaS, or financial services environment
- Strong understanding of sales processes and dynamics, with the ability to negotiate and close deals effectively
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on building trust and advising customers
- A self-starter mentality with the drive to initiate and manage projects independently
- Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce) and sales management tools

Compensation: This role offers a base salary of £52,000, with an additional £34,000 in on-target commission, bringing total on-target earnings to £86,000. You will also receive equity as part of the overall compensation package.
