About the Role
We’re looking for a Product Analyst who’s passionate about understanding how Plandek is really being used — and why .
Your mission is to uncover the story behind the numbers: what our customers need, what drives their behaviour, and how we can better serve them.
You’ll blend data analysis with customer research to generate deep, actionable insights that shape product strategy. Working closely with Product, Design, and Customer Success, you’ll ensure every feature we build reflects real user needs and delivers measurable impact.
You’ll use Heap Analytics and other tools to turn product usage data and customer feedback into a clear, evidence-led understanding of the customer journey — from adoption to long-term retention.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with Product Owners to define success metrics grounded in customer outcomes and needs.
- Combine product analytics (e.g. Heap) with qualitative research (interviews, surveys, and customer feedback) to uncover what drives user behaviour, satisfaction, and engagement.
- Define, test, and validate hypotheses derived from product and customer data, turning observations into evidence-based recommendations.
- Lead customer research sessions, user groups, and feedback forums to bring the customer voice directly into product discussions.
- Continuously monitor feature performance post-release, identifying patterns in engagement, adoption, and retention and explaining why they occur.
- Collaborate with Customer Success to connect usage patterns with customer goals, pain points, and satisfaction drivers.
- Build clear, insightful dashboards and reports that highlight trends, customer insights , and business impact.
- Contribute to tailored research initiatives, adapting methods to meet the needs of specific product or customer questions.
- Bonus: Experience designing or analysing A/B tests and experiments, translating findings into insights about customer behaviour and satisfaction drivers.
What You’ll Bring
- 2–4 years of experience in product analytics, insights , or customer research (BI, product ops, or UX research backgrounds welcome)
- Hands-on experience with Heap Analytics (or similar tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Google Analytics)
- Strong data literacy — you can interpret metrics and communicate what they mean for real users
- Experience gathering and leading qualitative research , including customer interviews, surveys, or group forums
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills — you’re comfortable engaging customers directly and synthesising their input into actionable insights
- Experience building dashboards or visualisations (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
- A curious, empathetic mindset — passionate about understanding customers and uncovering the “why” behind their behaviour
- The ability to translate complex findings into clear stories that influence Product and Customer Success teams
- A collaborative approach — comfortable engaging with Product, Design, and CS to represent the customer’s voice
Nice to Have
- Experience linking product analytics with customer success or lifecycle metrics
- Familiarity with UX research, NPS analysis, or customer feedback tools
- Understanding of experimentation design or A/B testing principles
- Experience working in agile product development environments
