Information Scientist – Content Analytics (AI & Scientific Literature

What You’ll Be Doing
Content Analytics & Knowledge Management
- Design and implement AI-enabled workflows for literature mining, summarisation, and trend analysis
- Manage and curate external scientific information sources following FAIR data principles
AI & Advanced Analytics
- Apply NLP, machine learning, and Large Language Models (LLMs) to improve information retrieval and content classification
- Explore and propose innovative AI-driven solutions for scientific content analysis
Information Science & R&D Support
- Support biomedical and pharmaceutical R&D teams with structured, high-quality information
- Work with metadata, ontologies, and scientific knowledge systems to ensure data usability and reuse
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to copyright, licensing, and data governance standards
- Maintain data integrity, transparency, and audit trails for AI-driven processes
Collaboration, Training & Enablement
- Act as a subject matter expert for AI-based content analytics initiatives
- Deliver training and guidance on AI/NLP tools and best practices
- Develop guidelines and frameworks to upskill teams in digital and data science capabilities
What We’re Looking For
Technical & Domain Skills
- Background in information science, library science, data science, bioinformatics, or similar
- Experience or strong interest in:
- NLP & LLMs (e.g. transformers, RAG, prompt engineering)
- Python for text analytics
- Knowledge graphs and ontologies
- Familiarity with data visualisation and scientific communication tools
