Role Overview We are seeking an exceptional senior leader to head our global Solution Consulting unit. This executive role is responsible for strategic alignment across commercial, product, and delivery teams, owning the customer requirement lifecycle, and driving the success of our solution portfolio. The Head of Solution Consulting will be a visible, influential leader—empowered to challenge assumptions, say no when necessary, and ensure we deliver the right solutions with end-to-end accountability. What You Will Do Alignment & Strategic Leadership:
- Set the vision and strategy for the Solution Consulting unit, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and cross-functional priorities.
- Lead collaboration between Sales, Product, Delivery, and Customer Success to guarantee unified execution and messaging.
- Own the process for translating customer requirements into actionable solution roadmaps.
- Serve as the ultimate owner of customer requirements, ensuring solutions are tailored, feasible, and commercially viable.
- Act as the senior escalation point for complex customer needs, balancing advocacy with commercial discipline.
- Build trusted relationships with key clients and partners, representing the company at executive levels.
- Empower the team to challenge requests that do not align with strategic goals or best practices.
- Make tough decisions, including saying no to misaligned opportunities, to protect long-term value and customer success.
- Guide the organization in selling the right solutions, not just any solution, with integrity and confidence.
- Take full ownership for solution outcomes—from initial scoping and design through delivery, post-sale support, and commercial results.
- Establish and monitor KPIs that reflect both operational excellence and customer impact.
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and scalability across the solution consulting function.
- Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing, diverse team of solution consultants.
- Foster a culture of accountability, empowerment, and professional growth.
- 15+ years’ experience leading large, distributed solution consulting or pre-sales teams at the executive level.
- Proven track record of strategic alignment, customer ownership, and commercial leadership in payments, tax-free retail, or SaaS.
- Exceptional executive presence, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive end-to-end accountability and deliver measurable business outcomes.
