The Role

We’re looking for a commercially minded and relationship-driven Account Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the Chief Business Officer, you will play a key role in managing and growing PlanetPlay’s partner ecosystem, while also driving new business opportunities.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and is comfortable balancing account management, project delivery, and sales. You’ll have the autonomy to take ownership of your work, while contributing to wider team objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with PlanetPlay’s publisher partners, content aggregators, and industry organisations, acting as a trusted point of contact.
  • Project Delivery:
  • Coordinate and deliver large-scale, multi-partner projects, ensuring smooth cross-functional collaboration across internal teams (product, marketing, finance, legal).
  • Business Development:
  • Drive new revenue through targeted outreach campaigns across multiple product verticals, identifying and converting new partnership opportunities.
  • Content & Operations:
  • Oversee and execute content onboarding for PlanetPlay’s webstore, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Forecasting & Reporting:
  • Develop and maintain forecasts for new game launches and major campaigns, providing clear insights to support business planning.
  • Growth & Upselling:
  • Identify opportunities to increase partnership value, including upselling, cross-selling, and expanding your portfolio of clients.
  • Client Engagement:
  • Represent PlanetPlay in client meetings and at industry events, with opportunities for international travel to conferences and partner sites.
  • Commercial & Admin Oversight:
  • Manage partner agreements and invoicing processes, working closely with finance and legal teams to ensure smooth execution and compliance.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in partnerships, account management, or business development (ideally within gaming, digital media, or tech).
  • Strong commercial instincts with a track record of driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a collaborative environment.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to take ownership of outcomes.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
