Job Summary
The Commercial and Compliance Executive will play a pivotal role in supporting and enhancing the company’s commercial, contractual, and compliance operations. This is a varied, dynamic position covering contract management, commercial analysis, compliance oversight, ESG initiatives, and risk management.
Reporting to the Commercial and Compliance Manager, the successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and will collaborate across departments to shape, optimise, and improve internal processes. This role offers exceptional exposure to commercial decision‐making, cross‐functional operations, and strategic business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities or Areas of Contribution:
Contract Management
- Manage and maintain contract templates and standard terms.
- Track contract requests from initiation to execution.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers, ensuring alignment with commercial terms and legal requirements.
- Oversee the contract approval and signature process.
- Maintain and update the contract database and repository.
- Draft contract summaries for internal stakeholders.
- Review client due diligence requests and coordinate internally gaining other SMEs contributions.
Commercial Management
- Create and analyse cost and pricing quotes.
- Track commercial opportunities and conduct annual commercial reviews.
- Manage the commercial approval process and ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Monitor deal progress internally and externally to maintain momentum.
- Collaborate with other teams to shape and improve commercial processes.
- Conduct supplier due diligence and support onboarding.
- Support strategic commercial initiatives and reporting.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Manage compliance projects and support internal audits.
- Track and administer ISMS/Security management activities, including meeting minutes, action tracking, and stakeholder follow-ups, in line with global security standards like ISO27001
- Review, draft, and maintain corporate and security policies.
- Manage and enhance the internal policy intranet and SharePoint.
- Communicate internal policies effectively across the business.
- Respond to client due diligence and compliance-related requests.
- Coordinate and track risk assessments and treatment plans through to completion.
- Help shape compliance processes in collaboration with other departments.
- Support the company’s ESG program and related sustainability initiatives.
Training & Process Improvement
- Deliver internal training on contract, commercial, and compliance topics.
- Continuously review and enhance operational processes to identify efficiencies and improvements.
- Act as a key contributor to cross-functional initiatives that improve business operations.
Ideal Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Awareness of contracting principles and standards (familiar with contracting structures e.g. MSA, Schedules, SOWs, NDAs etc...)
- 2+ years of experience in commercial, contract, or compliance roles.
- Familiarity with regulatory environments (e.g., GDPR, ISO27001, ESG frameworks).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Experience in software, data, or technical services industries is a plus.
- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders
