Salary: £38k-£48k
Location: Cambridgeshire An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Engineer to join an established and innovative product development business. The company designs and manufactures high-quality, technically complex electro-mechanical products, with a strong focus on quality, reliability and continuous improvement. This is a fantastic opportunity for a practically minded engineer looking to develop their career across production engineering and test. You'll work closely with R&D, Production and Operations, helping improve manufacturing processes, develop test solutions and ensure products can be built and tested efficiently and consistently. Key Responsibilities: Design, build and maintain production test fixtures
Support functional testing of electro-mechanical products
Install and commission test equipment at external manufacturing partners
Develop build sequences, tooling and production aids
Support NPI and design reviews
Produce test, assembly and manufacturing documentation
Work closely with R&D, Production and Operations
Skills & Experience Required:
HNC/HND/BEng in Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Experience xehkeey in production, test or electronics engineering
Knowledge of analogue and digital electronics
Ability to read circuit schematics
Hands-on electronics assembly and prototyping skills
Test fixture or production equipment experience
Basic CAD skills advantageous
