My client is a well-established global engineering business with a growing presence across global markets, they are expanding their team and are looking for a technically minded individual to join their business in Newmarket.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a technical engineering background who enjoys working directly with customers and wants to develop their career within a commercially focused role.
The Role
As a Technical Sales & Applications Engineer, you will provide technical support to customers throughout the full sales lifecycle, helping them identify the right products and solutions for their specific applications.
You will work closely with customers, internal engineering teams and other departments providing: pre-sales technical support, i nternal technical support & p ost-sales technical support.
Key Responsibilities
+ Provide technical support to customers throughout the sales process
+ Review and interpret engineering specifications and understand customer application requirements.
+ Identify opportunities to recommend additional products and solutions where appropriate.
+ Take ownership of nominated key accounts with more complex technical requirements.
+ Manage complex customer orders through the business, coordinating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
About You
+ A technical engineering background or relevant technical experience.
+ Experience within applications engineering, technical support, technical sales or account management.
+ A proactive approach and willingness to develop technical and product knowledge.
+ A strong customer-focused mindset and commitment to delivering excellent service.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ A commercially minded and proactive approach to identifying sales opportunities
+ The ability to understand technical specifications and customer requirements.
Salary: 45-55k DOE
