Role Requirements:

• Lead and mentor a team of embedded software engineers
• Oversee the design, development, testing, and maintenance of safety-critical embedded software
• Work closely with customers to understand requirements and support project delivery
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality, on-time solutions
• Carry out code reviews and promote best engineering practices
• Identify risks, solve technical issues, and ensure project alignment
• Support the growth and development of less experienced engineers

Key Skills Required:

• Strong experience in embedded software development within a safety-critical environment (Aerospace)
• Proficient experience of embedded systems and real-time operating systems
• Proficiency in C programming
• Strong knowledge of the full software development lifecycle
• Experience working to safety standards
